WE WORRY ABOUT PERILOUS TIMES…..THEY ARE HERE IN EVERY COUNTRY. – Pastor Mike Taylor

1 This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come.
2 For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy,
3 Without natural affection, truce-breakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good,
4 Traitors, heady, high-minded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God;
5 Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.
6 For of this sort are they which creep into houses, and lead captive silly women laden with sins, led away with divers lusts,
7 Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth. 2 Timothy 3:1-7

As the apostle Paul warned, some 1960 years or so ago, in the last days, the end of this age, we would see perilous times. A time when men would grow exponentially more evil in their practices than in any other time before. Now men have always been sinners, but the expression of evil that has entered into our times, is unprecedented. When combined with Paul’s thought in verse 13 of 2 Timothy, “But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived.” the Greek grammar gives the sense of conditions or expressions of human nature that ebb and flow like waves of the sea rather than a constant state of affairs. However, when combined with the idea of things growing “worse and worse” and Jesus’ comments about the day’s of Noah, we can understand the situation will be especially intense in our time.

In addition, Paul did not intend us to suppose that everyone would express all of these traits all the time. Rather, all of them would indeed exist in each person since he is describing the elements of every human’s deceitful heart, but the intensity of their expression would vary from person to person.

PROPHECY BEING FULFILLED IN OUR DAYS

But can anyone say that the above scriptures have not been fulfilled? It seems we are seeing these prophecy warnings in ever-greater frequency, as people seem to have less and less compunction about terrorising and taking the lives of their fellow human beings. Under the grip of a merciless narcissism, many are losing their humanity. Take a look around the world we live in. Let’s start with the evil in the Middle East with Islamic terrorist history in the likes of ISIS that spread from Iraq to Libya and they inflicted a swath of rape, death, and destruction in their march to install a caliphate with its Sharia Law into all parts of the land.

In western Europe, migrants from these lands have invaded their countries where the God of the Bible has all but been relegated to the trash can of human depravity. In its place they have been flooded with “immigrants” who commit evil acts against a people who used to enjoy freedoms that we have enjoyed in our own land. The news is awash with the deeds of Middle Eastern and African Muslims who have all but raped the country into terror for their very lives.

In Communist Russia, the bear has come awake from it’s Soviet Socialist days and has flexed its muscles militarily that took over Crimea and the whole of Ukraine without so much as a response from western countries, except in verbal protest. They have moved into Syria and supported the evil regime of Assad and have alliances with Turkey and Iran that has never before been seen in all of human history, as they have been natural enemies prior to our time. Each have filled the void that was left by a withdrawal of American troops from Iraq by the so called past POTUS, (in name only) and have set up military bases that are now a permanent structure in the life of Syrians and threaten the surrounding areas with bombings and chemical warfare. The whole of Syria is a devastation with a homeless population that struggles to stay alive.

In Israel, the centre of God’s universe, the Jewish people have been demonised since the creation of their nation in 1948. The UN which is dominated by Arab countries that hate Israel since Isaac and Ishmael were born, have attempted to create a situation where the land of Israel will be pulled back to pre-1967 borders and Jerusalem divided. Christians, even in American have sided with the Palestinians against Israel and directly bring judgment on them by their un-Biblical stance against God’s chosen. Israel is surrounded on all sides by those who hate her, and now they have a big dog in their corner, Putin’s Russia. It’s only a matter of time when another prophecy is fulfilled discussed further down.

Looking across the big pond of the Atlantic, we see death and destruction coming to America in the form of terrorist attacks, noted by Black Lives Matters domestic terrorist group killing law enforcement officers, lawlessness in our streets, corruption on a national scale, and an economy that teeters on the brink of collapse now due to the Coronavirus. We saw the Democratic political party who nominated a known criminal and her family, who has more scandals to her credit than Carter has Liver Pills. Islamic terrorist have made multiple attacks on our citizens that fill our news outlets and more are surely planned as the past “idiot in chief” brought unvetted Syrian refugees and settled them in most of the 48 continental USA states without assurances they are not ISIS fighters embedded in those settled in our country. And to make it even worse, it was reported that a past candidate for the Democratic party (you know who she was) planned to increase the amount by 500% without taking precautions to insure that the American people are protected from these same terrorist infiltrators. To me, that was insanity.

If you be a Conservative and thinking for yourself, and not a ”godless” liberal thinker who embraces a blended population without borders and where lawlessness abounds, then you can rightly say, as I do, the world has gone totally mad. Insanity does indeed abound and love for others have grown cold. Even with the terrible deeds that have been perpetrated on an unsuspecting public, here and abroad, the problem will grow exponentially worse, far worse in the near future. If Trump looses the next election, then we are ripe for socialism and the loss of all our freedoms our forefathers fought and died for. Right now we see character and political symptoms that as bad as they are happening, but they are only a precursor of the evil that will raise its ugly head when “Hell will be loosed on this earth” during the coming prophesied Tribulation and the Great Tribulation comprising seven years of unrestrained evil.

As a people, the world’s population is bumping right up next to the end of this age. The signs of the end of man’s rule on this planet are shouting loud and clear.
I know that I keep bringing the subject up, and the reason being, the drumbeats of that beginning of a time so horrible become louder and louder, with more intensity. Just look at the symptoms that are screaming at every man, woman and child on this planet. Why do I say that?

Remember that the prophecy of Ezekiel 38-39 will bring to light, in my opinion, the rise of the Anti-Christ, as a peace maker between Israel and the surrounding nations. A so called “peace treaty” that is confirmed with the “many” will attempt to prevent another onslaught of complete annihilation of the coming Anti-Christ and his army of demonically inspired reprobates.

Not with-standing all the turmoil we see all over the world with the Muslim invasion of democratic countries, but focusing in on what is forming in the Middle East right now that is the precursor of that prophetic event. Russia has formed an alliance with Iran, which has been their proxy in the region for years. The Russian bear has set up military bases and airfields, along with intercontinental ballistic missiles capable of nuclear weapons on Israel’s doorstep. One false move on either party could bring all out war between Israel and it’s Islamic neighbours. I believe there will be an early attempt by fulfilling Psalm 83, but Israel will be victorious in that fight with God’s help.

Coming not too long on the heels of this victory by Israel, Russia will think an evil thought, or should I say Putin will.

2 Son of man, set thy face against Gog, the land of Magog, the chief prince of Meshech and Tubal, and prophesy against him,
3 And say, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I am against thee, O Gog, the chief prince of Meshech and Tubal:
4 And I will turn thee back, and put hooks into thy jaws, and I will bring thee forth, and all thine army, horses and horsemen, all of them clothed with all sorts of armour, even a great company with bucklers and shields, all of them handling swords:
5 Persia, Ethiopia, and Libya with them; all of them with shield and helmet:
6 Gomer, and all his bands; the house of Togarmah of the north quarters, and all his bands: and many people with thee.
7 Be thou prepared, and prepare for thyself, thou, and all thy company that are assembled unto thee, and be thou a guard unto them.
8 After many days thou shalt be visited: in the latter years thou shalt come into the land that is brought back from the sword, and is gathered out of many people, against the mountains of Israel, which have been always waste: but it is brought forth out of the nations, and they shall dwell safely all of them.
9 Thou shalt ascend and come like a storm, thou shalt be like a cloud to cover the land, thou, and all thy bands, and many people with thee.
10 Thus saith the Lord GOD; It shall also come to pass, that at the same time shall things come into thy mind, and thou shalt think an evil thought:
11 And thou shalt say, I will go up to the land of unwalled villages; I will go to them that are at rest, that dwell safely, all of them dwelling without walls, and having neither bars nor gates, Ezekiel 38:2-11

Thus will the time that will usher in a battle so ferocious that 5/6 of this invading army will die on the mountains of Israel and the “plague” will follow them back to their home country. This will happen at the Hands of Almighty God when He passes judgment and His fierce anger is taken out on the nations that dare come against His people or His land. I believe this whole scenario will be after the coming of our Lord and Saviour to take His church out of this world, so that the Anti-Christ will be revealed…”evil incarnate”.

7 For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only he who now letteth will let, until he be taken out of the way.
8 And THEN shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming:
9 Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders, 2 Thessalonians 2:7-9…

The reference in the previous verses point to the only possible Power that is holding back rampant evil on this planet, unabated, and without limits. This Power is the Holy Spirit, and He lives in every born again believer. If our Comforter, our Counsellor, and our Advocate is taken out of this world, then so are the vessels He indwells spiritually. But up to that point, before this explosive war comes to pass, and the Anti-Christ is finally revealed, the world will be going about living their life as normal as possible…It is the time we live in right now. Don’t mistake me, when I say the Holy Spirit is being removed. God’s Spirit is being drawn back to Pre-Pentecostal times and giving full sway to the evil that is lurking in the shadows to come out fully into the light.

People will still be saved in this time for the efforts of the 144, 000 Jewish evangelist who speak to the world, along with God’s two witnesses and many will be saved, but will not be sealed as the Church was, but must guard their salvation at all times, to prevent their crowns from being stolen and succumbing to the Beast power taking the mark of the beast.

JUST BEFORE THE TRIBULATION BEGINS

Jesus said, that as it was in the days of Noah, people would be going about their usual patterns in life. Those patterns have grown more and more evil with passing time.

37 But as the days of Noe were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.
38 For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark,
39 And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. Matthew 24:37-39

Evil men were doing then, just as they are doing now, without even thinking that their time on earth was soon to be cut short. What was Jesus referring to, when He made this astonishing prophecy that will play out, I feel, in the not too distant future? He was referring to the time of Tribulation, and the Great Tribulation that would see the rise of the Anti-Christ. See, I believe the man is alive, right now and just waiting for the moment to reveal himself to the world as a charismatic “peace maker”. This man, the Anti-Christ is called the “lawless one”. The horrific results of Ezekiel 38-39 will, in my humble opinion, set the stage for someone to come forward with a peace treaty that scripture says will be for 7 years.

The coming of the lawless one is according to the working of Satan with all power, signs, and lying wonders, and with all unrighteous deception among those who perish, because they did not receive the love of the truth, that they might be saved. And for this reason God will send them strong delusion, that they should believe the lie, that they all may be condemned who did not believe the truth but had pleasure in unrighteousness. 2 Thessalonians 2:9-12

The man will be glorified, heaped praise upon, and will bring a false sense of security and safety that has finally come to that region of the Middle East and the rest of the world. He will speak great and inspiring words for those who will hang on his every word, labelling him as the “messiah” a bringer of peace. To Israel, he will be a “political messiah” who brings temporarily, what they have longed for since they were a nation again in May 1948, peace and security. He will offer them what they have longed for and allow them to rebuild their temple, possibly on the temple mount. They will be blinded by the true intentions of the evil tyrant until he enters the temple proclaiming himself “a god” and they will know they have made a pact of evil with the devil.

And he shall speak great words against the most High, and shall wear out the saints of the most High, and think to change times and laws: and they shall be given into his hand until a time and times and the dividing of time. Daniel 7:25

The coming Lawless One will attempt to wipe out the Jewish race and all who proclaim Jesus as Saviour. He will wear them out by hunting them down for extermination. These are the Tribulation saints who must guard their salvation as precious as gold.

The man will proclaim peace, when there is no peace, as was spoken of in similar times by the prophet Jeremiah:

They have healed the brokenness of My people superficially, Saying, `Peace, peace,’ But there is no peace. Jeremiah 6:14

So begins the most evil time that has ever come upon the earth. We think the times are evil now, but my friend, “you ain’t seen nothing yet.” I pray, that those reading this never see what I am describing.

Let no man deceive you with vain words: for because of these things cometh the wrath of God upon the children of disobedience. Be not ye therefore partakers with them. For ye were sometimes darkness, but now are ye light in the Lord: walk as children of light: (For the fruit of the Spirit is in all goodness and righteousness and truth;) Proving what is acceptable unto the Lord. And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them. . . .(dropping down)
See then that ye walk circumspectly, not as fools, but as wise, Redeeming the time, because the days are evil. Wherefore be ye not unwise, but understanding what the will of the Lord is. Ephesians 5:6-11, 15-17

MARK OF THE BEAST, EVIL FROM SATAN HIMSELF

Those of us who call Jesus, Lord of our life and have believed in His death and resurrection as God incarnate, need not worry about what is to come during this time where the world is thrown into the coming Tribulation. This part of this message is for the so unfortunate unbeliever that is doomed to live through the time we call the “tribulation”. If you should be reading this and the world is in chaos as millions of people have vanished, and a powerful leader has deemed it necessary to take a “mark” in your forehead or your right hand to continue some form of normal life in a one world economy then you must understand one thing. What is this mark?

16 And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads:
17 And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.
18 Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number is Six hundred threescore and six. Revelation 13:16-18

Those who take this mark, by scripture we read that they are doomed to a Devil’s hell for all eternity.

9 And the third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, If any man worship the beast and his image, and receive his mark in his forehead, or in his hand,
10 The same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out without mixture into the cup of his indignation; and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb:
11 And the smoke of their torment ascendeth up for ever and ever: and they have no rest day nor night, who worship the beast and his image, and whosoever receiveth the mark of his name. Revelation 14:9-11

Some ask if you can take the “mark of the beast” unwittingly and will not be counted as in rebellion against God. The answer in my opinion, is “NO”. As it was in the Roman times, each citizen had to burn incense to a statue of Caesar once a year and proclaim Caesar as a god and worship before that statue. So will it be here. Each of those who take the mark, will make a conscious decision to proclaim the Anti-Christ as a “god” in the flesh and will worship him or be unable to buy or sell, and will be subject to pain of death if they do not pledge allegiance and worship the Beast Power found in the Anti-Christ. The false prophet will set up a golden image of the “beast” and demand worship of it….Some have suggested that the one world religion will use computer technology that will be broadcast over all the airwaves of the world and ability to monitor those who worship and those who do not. In times past, this was not possible, but with technology advanced as it is, every man, woman and child will be monitored electronically for compliance.

ARE YOU READY FOR THE GREATEST EVIL ON THE FACE OF THE EARTH?

Our Lord and Saviour spoke of a time when the world will be living their lives as usual. Right now, things are pretty messed up and the world is in upheaval…things will have to settle down for the coming glorious appearance of our soon coming King to come in the clouds and cry, come up hither”….what did Jesus say?

36 But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only.
37 But as the days of Noah were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.
38 For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark,
39 And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. Matthew 24:36-39

What could settle down the chaos this world is experiencing right now due to this “Hyped” Coronavirus?. Could it be a vaccine that gives each of those who accept it and have a traceable tattoo on the right arm so they can return to some form of “normalcy” again?

Men and women will be living their lives and be completely blind-sided with the coming event that is just out of site….the coming of our Lord Jesus for His Bride comprised of the True Church of the Living God. Suddenly, the world is thrown upside down and chaos is the rule of the day. People searching for loved ones, their children, women who are pregnant suddenly without the child residing in their bodies, and destruction all over the world of unexplained accidents ie. Car crashes with no drivers, trains derailing without an engineer, planes falling from the sky because it has no pilot…..where there can be an accident, you can be sure it will happen.

Know that God has NEVER in all of the pages of your Bible subjected His people, His chosen saints that have made that decision for Jesus Christ and Him crucified and resurrected, now sitting at God the Fathers right hand to the wrath and righteous indignation that will rain down on a rebellious world. Even in Lot’s day, the angels could NOT destroy Sodom and Gomorrah until they were safely out of harms way.

15 And when the morning arose, then the angels hastened Lot, saying, Arise, take thy wife, and thy two daughters, which are here; lest thou be consumed in the iniquity of the city.
16 And while he lingered, the men laid hold upon his hand, and upon the hand of his wife, and upon the hand of his two daughters; the Lord being merciful unto him: and they brought him forth, and set him without the city. Genesis 19:15-16

I don’t know about you, but if I read any of this and read what is going on in the world that is growing darker and darker with each passing day, I would be in deep depression if I didn’t have the blessed Hope that will keep me from this hour of total evil. I read about the suicide rate rising exponentially in the world of people who can’t handle what is coming upon the earth, so they end their life out of depression and despondency because they have no HOPE. Who is that blessed ‘HOPE” I speak of?

11 For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men,
12 Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world;
13 Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ;
14 Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works. Titus 2:11-14

In this time of great evil that coming upon this world, we proclaim One Name that will save us from the evil to come. His Name, is Jesus Christ…Yeshua…I AM that I AM…Jehovah…God of the Bible. Evil will abound in this period of man’s history and many will die. The Bible talks of nearly 80% of the world’s population meeting an untimely death, either by divine retribution or at the a hands of evil men. Can you imagination in your wildest nightmare, seeing almost 6 billion people dying all over this planet in seven short years? There won’t be enough surviving to bury the dead, even though they may try. Dead bodies will litter the ground. Wild animals will come out of the woods and hiding to devour those bodies left without burial and OH THE SMELL….the smell of death will permeate the entire planet from humans, sea creatures and animals. ..God’s wrath will double down on a rebellious mankind during this period. If you are so foolish or unfortunate to not take the free gift of salvation offered to you by the grace of God, then you will experience that wrath of God first hand, up close and personal. But Jesus made us a promise that those who belong to Him, as His followers, washed in His precious blood, can have assurance of redemption from what is to come.

10 Because thou hast kept the word of my patience, I also will keep thee from the hour of temptation, which shall come upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon the earth.
11 Behold, I come quickly: hold that fast which thou hast, that no man take thy crown. Revelation 3:10-11

9 For God hath not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ,
10 Who died for us, that, whether we wake or sleep, we should live together with him.
11 Wherefore comfort yourselves together, and edify one another, even as also ye do.”
1 Thessalonians 5:9-11

And the salvation message that saves you from the wrath to come and the evil that will be exponential in this horrific time to come.

16 For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him, should not perish, but have everlasting life.
17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.
18 He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. John 3:16-18

We are all sinners and can’t approach a Holy God, but God sent His Son:

8 But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.
9 Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him. Romans 5:8-9

Evil is rampant in the world. Evil will only grow worse, but our salvation through Jesus Christ our Lord will find us ready for Him when He comes for His church, before this dire time called the Tribulation comes into existence. Don’t wait another moment…ask Jesus into your heart and repent of your sins, right now…call out to Him, and ask for His forgiveness. You do that with a humble and contrite heart knowing that without Him, you will die for all eternity…not just physically, but spiritually for all eternity. And our Great God and Saviour will honour your plea and see your humble heart and come into your heart as you open your life to Him…Remember, don’t wait…evil grows in this last days to overcome those who wait. Perilous times aren’t future, they are with us now.

8 But what saith it? The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach;
9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
11 For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed.
12 For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek: for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon him.
13 For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. Romans 10:8-13

GOD’S FINAL JUDGMENT: HEAVEN OR HELL? – Pastor Mike Taylor

22 But now being made free from sin, and become servants to God, ye have your fruit unto holiness, and the end everlasting life.

23 For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. Romans 6:22-23

I got into a discussion with a friend of mine who seems to be confused about the doctrine of sinners and their destination of an ever burning hell. In talking with this person, I was aware that he didn’t believe a loving God would ever send any one to an eternal torment known to us as hell, and ultimately the Lake of Fire. Is he right? Is a loving God unwilling to send anyone to a terrible place called in the bible in 53 different passages, hell or a place burning with fire and brimstone? Is the concept of a eternal hell a figment of some minister’s imagination or a denomination’s attempt to force people to the altar for fear of being cast into hellfire?

First, let me quote a minister that doesn’t believe in an eternal hell and that God is a God of Love,

“For centuries, many ministers have been preaching “hellfire and brimstone” sermons and promoting a religion of fear by teaching that the unsaved face an eternity of torture. The common teaching is that incorrigibly wicked people will be tormented forever in some fiery, macabre manner in a terrifying place called hell. This horrible fate usually conjures up in people’s minds visions of an ever-burning hellfire where sinners are continually roasted on spits, and a devil with horns and a tail runs around sticking his captives with a pitchfork.”

The imagery is a very simplistic explanation of hell and ultimately being cast into a lake burning with brimstone and sulphur. Satan and his demons will be there along with anyone who does not have their sins forgiven.

It is hard to convince some folks that God is not only a God of love, but also the God of judgment. He is a God of justice, a God of consuming fire, and a God who will not allow sin into His presence.

25 See that ye refuse not him that speaketh. For if they escaped not who refused him that spake on earth, much more shall not we escape, if we turn away from him that speaketh from heaven:

26 Whose voice then shook the earth: but now he hath promised, saying, Yet once more I shake not the earth only, but also heaven.

27 And this word, Yet once more, signifieth the removing of those things that are shaken, as of things that are made, that those things which cannot be shaken may remain.

28 Wherefore we receiving a kingdom which cannot be moved, let us have grace, whereby we may serve God acceptably with reverence and godly fear:

29 For our God is a consuming fire. Hebrews 12:26-29

Are we talking about the same God?. Do you mean the same God that told the Israelites when they entered Canaan to not spare man, woman, or child from the sword, but to slay them all? Do you mean that God? If it’s the same God of the Bible, what did He say about it?

JESUS GIVES A LESSON ON WHAT HELL IS LIKE

When Jesus spoke of the biblical lesson of the rich man and Lazarus being separated by a huge gulf and the rich man being in torment, and Lazarus being comforted in Abraham’s bosom, was He just telling a story? Was He stretching the truth, just to make a point? Let’s look at the passage. This is Jesus speaking in Luke chapter 16:

19 There was a certain rich man, which was clothed in purple and fine linen, and fared sumptuously every day:

20 And there was a certain beggar named Lazarus, which was laid at his gate, full of sores,

21 And desiring to be fed with the crumbs which fell from the rich man’s table: moreover the dogs came and licked his sores.

22 And it came to pass, that the beggar died, and was carried by the angels into Abraham’s bosom: the rich man also died, and was buried;

23 And in hell he lift up his eyes, being in torments, and seeth Abraham afar off, and Lazarus in his bosom.

24 And he cried and said, Father Abraham, have mercy on me, and send Lazarus, that he may dip the tip of his finger in water, and cool my tongue; for I am tormented in this flame. Luke 16:19-24

Since our Lord was sinless and only told what is true, it would make sense that He would not tell a falsehood, just to make a point. Jesus spoke of things spiritual that were being played out in the natural realm. Do we think that He was just joking and He didn’t mean it as He spoke it, and exactly as we take it?

SOME RELIGIONS EXPLAIN AWAY HELL

Some denomination and well meaning Christians believe that hell is a synonym of the grave. They go to great lengths to prove that Hades, the grave, and hell are all the same thing. Then why does so many Old Testament and New Testament writers under the guidance of the Holy Spirit make so much about the wages of sin and the eternal destruction of the soul in hell? Jesus spoke of hellfire, more than He did of even heaven…it was a place He didn’t want anyone to end up for all eternity. Let’s take a journey to look at just a few of the scriptures that point to the fallacy of not believing that the penalty for not having Jesus Christ cover your sins with His own shed blood is an eternal home in hell’s unquenchable fire.

King David spoke of it in Psalms:

16 The LORD is known by the judgment which he executeth: the wicked is snared in the work of his own hands

17 The wicked shall be turned into hell, and all the nations that forget God. Psalms 9:16-17

13 Withhold not correction from the child: for if thou beatest him with the rod, he shall not die.14 Thou shalt beat him with the rod, and shalt deliver his soul from hell. Proverbs 23:13-14

If you punish your child, you will not save him from the grave. We all will die, but what is spoken of here is delivering yourself from something beyond the grave, a place of everlasting torment. We call it Hell!

14 Therefore hell hath enlarged herself, and opened her mouth without measure: and their glory, and their multitude, and their pomp, and he that rejoiceth, shall descend into it.

15 And the mean man shall be brought down, and the mighty man shall be humbled, and the eyes of the lofty shall be humbled: Isaiah 5:14-1

Isaiah spoke of a place where man will be brought down and will be humbled. We all die, so it’s not speaking of only the grave, but something beyond the grave. Isaiah when he spoke of the final destination of Lucifer because of his sin against God, he wrote these words:

12 How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! how art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations!

13 For thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God: I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north:

14 I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be like the most High.

15 Yet thou shalt be brought down to hell, to the sides of the pit.

16 They that see thee shall narrowly look upon thee, and consider thee, saying, Is this the man that made the earth to tremble, that did shake kingdoms;

17 That made the world as a wilderness, and destroyed the cities thereof; that opened not the house of his prisoners? Isaiah 14:12-17

Understand that hell and the Lake of Fire was designed for Lucifer and his demon angels that fell because of rebellion. It was never designed for mankind that was made in the image of God. Satan had to attempt to thwart God’s judgment on himself. If he could get man to fall, then it possibly could thwart God’s perfect creation and maybe judgment on Lucifer himself. But God knew that to redeem what had been stolen by Satan, a perfect sacrifice had to be slain, and Jesus was slain from the foundation of the world. So God sent His only Son into the world to redeem mankind, as the kinsman redeemer. But it would cost Him His life, because sinful man is worthy of death. So Jesus paid the penalty for all who believe on His name and follow His example.

Satan wants you to disbelieve in a place called hell. Satan wants to deceive you, and blind you to this Biblical truth. Satan knows it is his final destination and he will not go down without taking anyone and everyone he can, with him. He has tried for many thousands of years to thwart the judgment of God and make Him somehow a liar and to make void his sentencing to a devil’s hell.

Jesus spoke of it further in Matthew

22 But I say unto you, That whosoever is angry with his brother without a cause shall be in danger of the judgment: and whosoever shall say to his brother, Raca, shall be in danger of the council: but whosoever shall say, Thou fool, shall be in danger of hell fire. Matthew 5:22

If you search your concordance for the word hell, verses before this one in your bible, does give you a feeling that hell in some scriptures, not all, depicts the grave and some point to beyond the grave, but this is where the Lord of Creation identifies what hell means. There is no fire in the grave, but of a place beyond the grave where the wicked and the sinner will end up. Hence it spoke of it plainly in Lazarus and the rich man. Note that the rich man has no name. I could be anybody that lives on this earth and rejects Jesus Christ as Saviour.

Through the gospels, and I won’t quote each and every one of them for the sake of brevity, Jesus makes an analogy of removing the sinful and offending part from you so that you will not be cast into hell. If it be the grave, then all parts of the departed end in the grave. Jesus speaks of something more.

Then there is the time when Jesus in His righteous anger railed against the Jewish authorities for the iniquity in dealing with the people: In Matthew again,

31 Wherefore ye be witnesses unto yourselves, that ye are the children of them which killed the prophets.

32 Fill ye up then the measure of your fathers.

33 Ye serpents, ye generation of vipers, how can ye escape the damnation of hell? Matthew 23:31-33

How much more plain can Jesus be? Did He not give enough clues to the final destination of all who are not redeemed by His own shed blood?

The kicker for me is found in Revelation chapter 14, that speaks of the reward of those who take the mark of the beast.

9 And the third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, If any man worship the beast and his image, and receive his mark in his forehead, or in his hand,

10 The same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out without mixture into the cup of his indignation; and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb:

11 And the smoke of their torment ascendeth up for ever and ever: and they have no rest day nor night, who worship the beast and his image, and whosoever receiveth the mark of his name. Revelation 14:9-11

Now tell me reader, if this hell fire is a parable, and hell is only the grave and there is not eternal torment for the sinner and the wicked, then why is the smoke of the torment rising before the Lamb and His holy angels, forever, and ever, and ever…sounds like eternity to me and proof that there is a final fiery judgment on sinful mankind!!

When I pointed this simple fact found in your bible out to my friend, he had not an explanation. No quick comeback and no answer to the Words of our Lord, written by John the Apostle. I fear for people who don’t believe the simple words of your bible. One denomination actually believes that “all will be saved after the Great White Throne judgment.”. This scenario believes that all will stand before the Ancient of Days, and be judged, but sentence will not be carried out until they have a “full chance” at believing in the name of Jesus Christ and finding forgiveness. This is called Universal Reconciliation and it is not found in your Bible. There is an ultimate penalty for those who have rejected His Son who came to save mankind from their sins.

24 For Christ is not entered into the holy places made with hands, which are the figures of the true; but into heaven itself, now to appear in the presence of God for us:

25 Nor yet that he should offer himself often, as the high priest entereth into the holy place every year with blood of others;

26 For then must he often have suffered since the foundation of the world: but now once in the end of the world hath he appeared to put away sin by the sacrifice of himself.

27 And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment:

28 So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto them that look for him shall he appear the second time without sin unto salvation. Hebrews 9:24-28

I truly believe that all mankind were born with one purpose, what will you do with the Man/God Christ Jesus…will you accept Him for salvation or reject believing Satan’s lies?

Now I can’t speak for God, as God is sovereign, all powerful and all merciful. All that have not had a chance at hearing, God can do what He wills with them, but to all who have heard the gospel and think they have a second chance at redemption play the Russian roulette of their soul.

Paul makes a point in Hebrews that we should take seriously this side of eternity:

26 For then must he often have suffered since the foundation of the world: but now once in the end of the world hath he appeared to put away sin by the sacrifice of himself.

27 And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment:
28 So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto them that look for him shall he appear the second time without sin unto salvation. Hebrews 9:26-28

You who are reading this, I don’t mean to scare you to the altar because you fear an ever burning fire called Hell !! But I wish to convey the harsh reality that all who are not found with their name written in the Book of Life at the Great White Throne judgment will receive their just reward, and it’s all because of their own will, not Gods. Do a simple Google search and find the verses that speak of an eternal destination for those who have rejected the Divine payment for the sins of the world, found in the blood and body of our Lord Jesus.

Each of those who have not the righteousness of our Lord Jesus covering their sins, because of the blood payment He made on the cross will be cast into the Lake of Fire, along with hell, death and the grave. I pray Holy Spirit conviction come upon you, and you make a plea for changing your life and repenting of your former life and living for God for the rest of it. Don’t come to the Lord for the wrong reason. Fear is the beginning of wisdom, but a true repentant and humble heart is what God desires.

16 For thou desirest not sacrifice; else would I give it: thou delightest not in burnt offering.

17 The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit: a broken and a contrite heart, O God, thou wilt not despise. Psalms 51-16-17

COMING JUDGMENT OF ALL MEN WHO DO NOT BELIEVE

11 And I saw a great white throne, and him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them.

12 And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works.

13 And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works.

14 And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death.

15 And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire. Revelation 20:11-15

But Jesus stands in the gap. He has paid the ultimate price for your sins, His life and shed all of His blood to wash you perfectly clean and make you acceptable before God the Father in Heaven. In the closing verses of the final book of our bible, Jesus makes this final plea:

16 I Jesus have sent mine angel to testify unto you these things in the churches. I am the root and the offspring of David, and the bright and morning star.

17 And the Spirit and the bride say, Come. And let him that heareth say, Come. And let him that is athirst come. And whosoever will, let him take the water of life freely. Revelation 22:16-17

Jesus makes an open invitation to all who will come and sit at His feet and believe in the only Begotten Son of the Father, Jesus the Christ (Messiah). He wishes for all to be joined unto Him and live forever, but He will not usurp your own will. He will not force you. He said,

“Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If any man hear my voice and open unto me, I will come unto him and sup with him, and he with Me.” Revelation 3:20

He desires that all come to repentance and to accept His free offer of grace. All you have to do, is believe in the One whom God has sent.

28 Then said they unto him, What shall we do, that we might work the works of God?

29 Jesus answered and said unto them, This is the work of God, that ye believe on him whom he hath sent. John 6:28-29

Then become a new creature in Jesus Christ and follow the Lord in baptism as a first sign of obedience. Then live unto obedience the things He wrote in His Word.

9 The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.

10 But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up.

11 Seeing then that all these things shall be dissolved, what manner of persons ought ye to be in all holy conversation and godliness.

II Peter 3:9-11

The Lord is coming soon, as a thief in the night…meaning suddenly and without warning. He wishes you to be with Him and not suffer what is coming. Chances are you will be counted with the sinner, as salvation will be hard to obtain, and be easily lost because of tribulation and the demonic forces working overtime for the destruction of your soul. Don’t give Satan a chance to take you with him. Make that decision for Jesus Christ right now, while there is still time. But time is growing short. How do you escape a ever burning Lake of Fire when Satan and the demons have been cast away for their wickedness? It is very simple as all you have to do is accept a free gift that is there one simple prayer away.

16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.

18 He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. John 3:16-18

8 But what saith it? The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach;

9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.

10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

11 For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed.

12 For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek: for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon him.

13 For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. Romans10:8-13

Don’t make that human mistake that any works you do will absolve you of the sin in your life, as Jesus is the ONLY Way back to God the Father….He offers salvation as a gift…reach out and take it….and you will escape the eternal reward of those who are not found in Jesus Christ, hell and the Lake of Fire.

5 Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved;)

6 And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus:

7 That in the ages to come he might shew the exceeding riches of his grace in his kindness toward us through Christ Jesus.

8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:

9 Not of works, lest any man should boast. Ephesians 2:5-9

THE COMING FALSE MESSIAH – Pastor Mike Taylor

38 And ye have not his word abiding in you: for whom he hath sent, him ye believe not.
39 Search the scriptures; for in them ye think ye have eternal life: and they are they which testify of me.
40 And ye will not come to me, that ye might have life.
41 I receive not honour from men.

43 I am come in my Father’s name, and ye receive me not: if another shall come in his own name, him ye will receive. John 5:38-43

The passage where this scripture is quoted in John , recounts the words of Jesus as He attempted to persuade the people of His day of who He really was. All through the gospels, especially the gospel of John, Jesus shows them miracle after miracle and gives them reason after reason to believe on the “One whom God hath sent”. But as any bible student knows, the people were blind and deaf to the reality that was standing right in front of them. The people were looking for a warrior king, much like their ancestor King David, to unite and restore the nation of Israel to its former glory and remove the standing Roman army from their land.

Israel was sub-servant to the power of the Roman empire and their hopes were pinned on the Laws given to Moses and could not see past the rituals that shadowed the coming Messiah. To them, Messiah meant a deliverer King, a fighting man with near supernatural ability to defeat the Romans and expel them from Israel. Who was this carpenter’s son that thought of Himself so highly that he spoke near blasphemy in their minds and in their hearing? This was not what they envisioned. They did not want a poor man of lowly means that had no power of making war.
Here was a Man who fit every prophecy of a coming Messiah to the letter, something that the religious authorities and the people had been waiting for over 400 years and knew every last detail of His coming and His family ancestry, based on the clear words of the Torah and the prophets, and they didn’t recognize Him, nor accept Him.

If you look back at scripture, to when Jesus was risen from the grave and appeared to the apostles and many others, even the men who followed Jesus for 3.5 years still did not understand the reason for the coming of the Messiah. As Jesus spoke with them, just before He ascended to heaven, the disciples asked Him in Acts 1,

4 And, being assembled together with them, commanded them that they should not depart from Jerusalem, but wait for the promise of the Father, which, saith he, ye have heard of me.
5 For John truly baptized with water; but ye shall be baptized with the Holy Ghost not many days hence.
6 When they therefore were come together, they asked of him, saying, Lord, wilt thou at this time restore again the kingdom to Israel?
7 And he said unto them, It is not for you to know the times or the seasons, which the Father hath put in his own power.
8 But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.
9 And when he had spoken these things, while they beheld, he was taken up; and a cloud received him out of their sight. Acts 1:4-9

At this time, even these men who lived, ate, and slept near the King of kings while He was a man on earth, still did not recognize His mission. Not yet, but they would when the day of Pentecost had come and they were filled with the Holy Spirit and the ability to speak out boldly of who Jesus Christ really was, what His mission had been, and revelation of what He had accomplished, being salvation to the Jew first, then to the Gentiles, as Paul eventually took the message to the Gentile nations in Asia Minor and the world.

From that humble beginning, the Word of God has spread like wildfire to cover all the earth. Men have died to speak God’s Word and the Word has flourished over every nation.
If you read the New Testament, coupled with the Old Testament prophecies of the coming Messiah, the 4 Gospel accounts give you everything you need to know to make a rational decision that Jesus Christ is the Messiah and the Son of the Living God Almighty. But why is there still doubt and a disbelieving world that rejects this core of our very being of the Christian heart? Because just as God is working full time, over time, and every second of the day to win men’s hearts to God and justify them because of His Son’s sacrifice in blood, His adversary, Satan the devil, is working just as hard to deceive, to lie, to tempt men to give into their sinful nature and deny the need for a Saviour. When Thomas doubted that Jesus was risen, but believed when he saw Him with his own eyes, what did Jesus say? Read the surrounded verses that come to this one thought about faith. John chapter 20

26 And after eight days again his disciples were within, and Thomas with them: then came Jesus, the doors being shut, and stood in the midst, and said, Peace be unto you.
27 Then saith he to Thomas, Reach hither thy finger, and behold my hands; and reach hither thy hand, and thrust it into my side: and be not faithless, but believing.
28 And Thomas answered and said unto him, My Lord and my God.
29 Jesus saith unto him, Thomas, because thou hast seen me, thou hast believed: blessed are they that have not seen, and yet have believed.
30 And many other signs truly did Jesus in the presence of his disciples, which are not written in this book:
31 But these are written, that ye might believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God; and that believing ye might have life through his name. John 20:26-31

We who live in the last days of the age of grace, believe by faith and not by sight. We believe because the Holy Spirit has revealed this truth to us in our hearts and minds and by faith, we have accepted Jesus as our Saviour and Lord of our life. In our hearts, Jesus reigns supreme, (or should be) and we follow Him and His footsteps and model His behaviour while on earth. You and I embrace the truth that Jesus is the Son of God, born of a virgin, lived and ministered on earth 3.5 years, and was rejected of His brethren, the Jewish people. We believe that He was falsely accused, beaten, and crucified on a Roman cross and buried in a rich man’s tomb…But the most glorious of it all, is we believe that He arose again 3 days later and is now, as I type, seated at the right Hand of Power, of Almighty God our Father, waiting to return for his Bride, the church, then 7 years later to set up a glorious 1000 year reign of peace, finally upon the earth.

If you want to know who Jesus Christ is, and who He was while on earth, my reader you can get no better explanation than to read the book of John of the four gospels beginning the New Testament. We do not cling to the law, as the law condemned us, but Jesus has delivered us from the penalty of the law and it’s requirements of sacrifice, by being the sinless sacrifice required by God to forgive each and everyone of us our sins that we cannot help but commit. So why did Jesus come? To supply a way back to the Father in Heaven and have His blood cover our sins, each and everyone who believes by faith.

FALSE MESSIAH COMING

Down through the last two thousand years, there have been many false prophets and many who have proclaimed to be the long awaited messiah the unbelieving world has waited for and especially the Jewish people, who to this day, do not believe in Jesus Christ, save a few blessed of God to receive their spiritual sight and believe in their Messiah. But by and large, the nation of Israel and the Jewish people are still in unbelief and waiting for that warrior king to deliver them from their enemies. At this time we could go into the history lessons of the dispersion of the Jews from 70 AD up to this modern day era, but for brevity sake, we know that the nation of Israel has been reformed again, against all odds in 1948, but is besieged by enemies from all borders of their country who wish nothing more than to destroy them and push them into the Mediterranean Sea.
There is no peace when you speak of Palestinians and any words spoke of real peace is an utter lie. You know it, and the wise person who believes his Bible, knows it as well. . There has been prophecy, after prophecy concerning the coming “lawless one” who will make a treaty with Israel for 7 years. But what peace treaty will this man confirm with Israel that is existence now?

I have seen attempt after attempt by past American presidents to bring a so-called peace process to Israel and their neighbours to ultimate failure. Even past President Trump pushed for peace in the Middle East with Abrahamic Accords. I read about the push for a two state solution, which on the Palestinian side is another attempt at lying words to mask their true intent and that is to destroy Israel and its Jewish heritage. That push began in year 2013 of June to last 9 months and to bring to the table a set of clear objectives for a permanent peace deal that is seen at this J-post link:

It starts the article with these words:

“WASHINGTON – US Secretary of State John Kerry hopes to narrow differences between Israelis and Palestinians in peace talks this week that are intended to guide the sides toward a deal in April, a senior State Department official said on Tuesday.”

Now I recall from my Bible study that there will be a peace treaty that will be signed when the Anti-Christ is revealed and I’m not saying that this is that peace treaty, but the framework is there. Remember from your reading of God’s Word what the real peace treaty will do, when Daniel the prophet wrote in Daniel chapter 9:

“And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate.” (Daniel 9:27)

Now many have postulated in times past, that Obama would be the Anti-Christ and I have not bought into that theory YET…..but it has come to my attention and I’m studying it’s source by doing online searches, and it would do well with each of us to search and line up events that are forming right now in our political and the world’s economic woes. I would not be amazed if Obama is the one behind advising our mentally challenged current POTUS and trying still to bring this country down to ruin and set up a One World Government.
ANNOUNCING THE COMING AL-MAHDI
It is reported that there is a parchment found in a clay jar, outside a nuclear reactor announcing the coming of the 12th Imam, known as Al Mahdi. From all indications that Mahdi and the Anti-Christ have striking similar prophecies associated with them in Christianity and well as Islam. I don’t put any stock in Islam’s prophecies, but if a section of a particular people believe it, then that’s dangerous and could lead the world into more perilous times. I ask that each of you read and search for the following discovery that purports to identify who this 12th Imam is, known as the Al Mahdi. The Ayatollahs in Iran are in firm belief that the man is alive and well today. This discovery is known as the Arak Codex #190001 and it correlates with the long held belief that the Muslim world has believed for a long time. Let me be very clear about this, for there are those who cannot bring themselves to confront the evidence of the Twelfth Imam’s uncloaking that I, privy to the discovery of the mystical codex through means I am forbidden to reveal, now set before them. All his actions are directed toward igniting the flames that wait to engulf the world. He diligently undermines the laws, security and prosperity of the people he ostensibly represented, and turned one against the other, sowing discord among the populace. He betrayed his friends and allies and renders them vulnerable to international predators. He sponsored and supported warlike groups and aggressive regimes that seek world hegemony. He is an undeclared enemy of the Jewish people and the Jewish state. He is a great friend to Islam in its march toward imposing a caliphate upon unsuspecting nations. He welcomes the black flag and the yellow flag into the sanctum of domestic authority, distributing office among his Muslim acolytes. He smiles upon the ayatollahs and signs agreements that facilitate their holy designs to kindle universal violence and establish their god’s kingdom on earth.

He has been schooled at the feet of prophets and sages and learned from the masters of canon and creed. He is the repository of sacred teachings and potent incantations, and is adept at uttering sonorous phrases that please as they befuddle. He is the embodiment of consecrated, numinous and venerable doctrine. He is no longer hidden but exults among us in all his glory. He is the bringer of chaos and the last days. He will inaugurate a new world order.

Doubters and skeptics must give way. The Twelfth Imam has returned, confirmed in his exaltation by innumerable tokens and crests and auguries. Devastation will precede him and resurrection will surely follow in his wake. The infidel shall be destroyed, destroyed utterly, and the believer shall rise from the smouldering ruins in triumph and gladness of heart. All this shall come to pass for it is written:
He is the Mahdi”

Notice the similarities of a past president of these United States and the description of the Al Mahdi? But what makes me wonder, and should you, are the prophecies coming from Muslim writings pertaining to this Al Mahdi.

Now this could be a ruse, and I’m fully aware of that, as where did this Codex come from? Did it come from an archaeological discovery, or a planted discovery? What I read, is that nobody outside of the rulers of Iran know of its existence, save a few that have examined it on pain of death to its revealing to the media. But the amazing thing is that prior writing of the Sahih Muslim Book under various book numbers and pages, all talk about this coming Mahdi in the same context and description. It would also be a point of interest to understand that when the church is removed, that the dominate religion on earth will be ISLAM mixed with false Christianity via the Catholic Church and the blend will be called Chrislam. What better way for Satan to destroy Israel than for the Al Mahdi and the Anti-Christ to be one and the same?

THE COMING MAN OF SIN, FALSE MESSIAH

What of this coming man of sin? The Bible deals with him, as quoted from Daniel chapter 9, and Paul spoke of this false messiah in 2 Thessalonians 2:

3 Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first (harpazo, Rapture), and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;
4 Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God.
5 Remember ye not, that, when I was yet with you, I told you these things?
6 And now ye know what withholdeth that he might be revealed in his time.
7 For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only he who now letteth will let, until he be taken out of the way.
8 And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming:
9 Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders, 2 Thessalonians 2:3-9

Jesus spoke of this time in Jewish history future, in Matthew 24:15-16:

When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whosoever readeth, let him understand:)
Then let them which be in Judaea flee into the mountains.

OK, SOME LIBERTY HERE

What has happened up to this point? Remember when I said that the Jews were looking for a warrior king that would deliver them from their enemies and give them the peace and safety they longed for, and restore the glory of the Kingdom of Israel once more? Thinking out loud and taking scripture for what it says, what if a powerful leader of the world’s lone superpower with military might that was unsurpassed in its ability to wage war were to bring a promise of peace and safety to Israel by making a treaty with a framework of two nations living alongside one another “in safety and security”…Sound familiar? Does to me, as that is the talking point of the U.S. involvement in pushing for a so called peace in the Middle East for the last 40+ years. It has been all elusive, but this latest push for a two state solution is being by any means available whether through use of extortion, bribery, or threat of economic sanctions….not against the Palestinians, but against Israel. Some believe and we watch and wait, that Obama will be made the Secretary General of the U.N. Or get a third term in the future as POTUS….can that be?

SIGNS IN THE HEAVENS

I had a sister just ask me about these past Blood Moons and the Tetrads that came on God’s Holy Days of Passover and Tabernacles in the past and the significance of those events. As I have written before and it seems many ministers are picking up on it with their own variation, these signs seen in our heavens, based on previous blood moons in the past, have dealt with the nation of Israel and the Jewish race. Let’s take the clues that we have covered so far and recap with some suppositions:

-a push for a Peace Treaty in Israel scheduled for the last 40 years
-a transformation of a Republic into something that none of us recognize, the USA. Happening right now~!!
-Iranian belief that the AlMahdi is on the scene and alive today and the man is pushing for a Muslim Caliphate to rule the world.
-the discovery of this Arak Codex #190001 and it’s description of the AlMahdi
-the long held belief by the Muslims of who the Mahdi will be written in the Sahih Muslim books.
-Signs of the blood moons that came to Israel and has been associated with Israel in every instance of past Blood Moon Tetrads, with the first sign coming in April 2015 of that year coinciding with this “peace treaty” that Kerry and Obama were pushing.
-the suspicions of many people of who this past president really is, as we know nothing about him, except he reads a good teleprompter.
-our past president and his Muslim roots that pander to the nation of Islam but slanders anything that smacks of Christianity. Oh, he says he’s a Christian, but the first law of Islam is to lie to the infidel until he be subdued.

Am I saying that Obama is the Anti-Christ? Not yet, I’m not, but If he’s not, then he is paving the way for the real deal. Everything the man does is Anti-American and designed at destroying our Republic and he is totally against Israel, no matter what he says. But let’s just for conjecture and theory decide Obama is the real deal, based on the above reasons, what may be Israel’s response in light of the opening verse of this message spoken by Jesus? I propose that the media and the art world has done everything in its power to build an aura around this man and christen him, the new messiah, in word, print and art renderings. Israel has longed for a “saviour” or someone to deliver them from their enemies. Someone to give them a sense of peace and security that they have prayed for the last 73 years to arrive. Would they embrace a “false messiah” who gives them a false sense of security? Is the Pope Catholic?

They want to believe, they are primed for it, and they just might accept a deal with the devil thinking that this is their long awaited “warrior king”…to give them what they have desired, their land without fear, a new Jewish Temple of worship on Mt. Moriah, the Temple Mount and a 7 year treaty of lies that claim peace. See Israel has been blinded that their Messiah was a suffering servant come to take away their sins (as temple sacrifices did that, in their mind), but a King David, fully man not necessarily divine, that would deliver them to regain what they had lost, the splendour of Solomon’s reign. Only when the prophecy spoken by Jesus in Matthew 24 comes to fruition about the abomination of desolation standing in the temple claiming to be God, that they will know they have made a pact with the devil. Then this false messiah will attempt to destroy everything Jewish and the nation of Israel will be trampled upon and the rest of the world subjugated to his dictatorship.

TWO CHOICES OF TRUE MESSIAH, or a false messiah

It comes down to this. Which one will you follow? Will you follow the true Messiah, Jesus Christ, the Son of God, or will you follow a charlatan with the title of “new messiah”. He may be the President of the USA, he may not. He will be the Anti-Christ, or by implication, instead of Christ. He will also, most likely be Muslim and the embraced Al Mahdi by association, or what he will stir up so they believe he is their leader to bring the reign of the Caliphate come to pass and Chrislam as the universal religion. The world will be ripe for deception. Carnage will be the name of the game, as many people will die…maybe even you. It will happen when suddenly, many people from every nation that has a true Christian population disappear and there is no sane explanation from anyone left to sort out the details of the event. If you have read all the surrounding reasons of what is happening during the next few years, then you will have to decide if the events are close time wise and if they are reasonable. (Note that Obama is still on the scene and he has not vanished into the background, but keeps speaking in a political arena). The false messiah could be on your TV screen at any given evening speaking lies to the unsuspecting masses of disbelievers. With signs becoming more prominent and exploding on your news cast, night after night, then any sane person would have to say….the Anti-Christ, the Al Mahdi, the lawless one, is alive and well today in our time.

Who do you put your trust in? Do you have to see with your eyes, and hear with your ears to believe? Remember what Jesus said above. “Blessed are those who have not seen, but believe”. How will you find the true Messiah? By faith you will see Him, feel Him, and His Holy Spirit will call you in a still small voice to repent of what you have been doing. Turn around and fall into the arms of Jesus Christ, my Lord who wishes only to save you and deliver you from the wrath to come. Call upon His name and with remorse and tears, call out “Jesus save me”….you know what, He will do as you ask.

16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.
18 He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.
19 And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. John 3:16-19

20 Where is the wise? where is the scribe? where is the disputer of this world? hath not God made foolish the wisdom of this world?
21 For after that in the wisdom of God the world by wisdom knew not God, it pleased God by the foolishness of preaching to save them that believe.

25 Because the foolishness of God is wiser than men; and the weakness of God is stronger than men.
26 For ye see your calling, brethren, how that not many wise men after the flesh, not many mighty, not many noble, are called:
27 But God hath chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise; and God hath chosen the weak things of the world to confound the things which are mighty;
28 And base things of the world, and things which are despised, hath God chosen, yea, and things which are not, to bring to nought things that are:
29 That no flesh should glory in his presence. 1 Corinthians 1:18-21, 25-29

I am sometimes amazed at how people of this world cannot grasp the simple language of the Bible. Jesus said that we must become as little children. But the world uses logic and the finite mind to try and understand the wisdom of God who is infinite in knowledge, and love of mankind.

13 And they brought young children to him, that he should touch them: and his disciples rebuked those that brought them.
14 But when Jesus saw it, he was much displeased, and said unto them, Suffer the little children to come unto me, and forbid them not: for of such is the kingdom of God.
15 Verily I say unto you, Whosoever shall not receive the kingdom of God as a little child, he shall not enter therein.
16 And he took them up in his arms, put his hands upon them, and blessed them. Mark 10:13-16

You look at a small child and they are so trusting of those who they know loves them. They believe what is told them, even though they may not understand it and follow the commands of their parents…(in most things, as children can be rebellious), but in simple day to day living, when given an explanation of something they may have asked in a one word question “WHY?” they are given the explanation and they believe.

Many people just cannot wrap their finite minds around something so simple, but must be accepted in child-like faith. You may not understand it, but you accept it because God has said it, and you believe…but some just can’t see the forest for the trees.

For example, we’ve examined the nuts-and-bolts answers to hard questions like, “Why did Jesus have to die?” and “would a loving God send people to hell?” etc. But it is good from time to time to revisit the basic gift of salvation.

The people I speak of that can’t grasp the concept of mercy and grace, think they must do something to warrant God’s mercy and grace…like good works, or following rules, or following their denomination’s traditions. In other words, they must earn this gift from God. But can you earn a gift? They just can’t understand that salvation is for sinners. Maybe you know some people like this. They get hung up in rules and regulations, traditions that speak of works and doing what their “church” says.

Then another set of people get hung up on keeping the Law of God, but can’t seem to understand that you can’t keep the law in its entire application of what God expects from each of us. From law keeping, the law is our school master, but it condemns each one of us, as we can’t keep the whole of the law.

When Jesus was asked what is the greatest and most important commandment of God, Jesus replied:

Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets. Matthew 22:37-40

Love God and love your neighbour as yourself…simple. But when was the last time you loved everyone you meet and love them as yourself?. The world is full of those who in simple language, “are hard to love”. They can get you fired up and thinking inappropriate thoughts about those who offend you, or thoughts of “getting even”. Admit it…we can’t love our neighbour (not all of them) as ourselves, it is humanly impossible…some will try, but each of us fail, because “we’re human”. We are prone to failure to live up to even this commandment that encompasses the whole of the law.

It leads directly to the truth that we can’t keep God’s Law, and thereby cannot have a personal relationship with God the Father, because of our sin. There is a huge gap between a Holy God and sinful mankind that cannot be bridged on our own. That’s where Jesus comes into focus, as the bridge to God the Father.

6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.
7 If ye had known me, ye should have known my Father also: and from henceforth ye know him, and have seen him.
8 Philip saith unto him, Lord, show us the Father, and it sufficeth us.
9 Jesus saith unto him, Have I been so long time with you, and yet hast thou not known me, Philip? he that hath seen me hath seen the Father; and how sayest thou then, Show us the Father? John 14:6-9

You see, God the Father, being perfectly Holy in all His ways, cannot allow sin into His presence. No matter what we do, we will never qualify as perfect enough, sinless enough to enter into His presence…So that leaves you, that leaves me as sinners on the other side of this huge gap between us and a Holy God. We are ALL selfish sinners, that is why God had to become ONE of us.

To do that, God emptied Himself of all His glory, entered into this quarantined sin-soaked world, into our atmosphere and took on human form, conquer sin in this world, and thereby defeating sins stranglehold on all of humanity. And then, having qualified as an acceptable Sacrifice, He paid the eternal penalty for sin on our behalf.
12 Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned:
13 For until the law sin was in the world: but sin is not imputed when there is no law.
14 Nevertheless death reigned from Adam to Moses, even over them that had not sinned after the similitude of Adam’s transgression, who is the figure of him that was to come.
15 But not as the offence, so also is the free gift. For if through the offence of one many be dead, much more the grace of God, and the gift by grace, which is by one man, Jesus Christ, hath abounded unto many.
16 And not as it was by one that sinned, so is the gift: for the judgment was by one to condemnation, but the free gift is of many offences unto justification.
17 For if by one man’s offence death reigned by one; much more they which receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness shall reign in life by one, Jesus Christ.
18 Therefore as by the offence of one judgment came upon all men to condemnation; even so by the righteousness of one the free gift came upon all men unto justification of life.
19 For as by one man’s disobedience many were made sinners, so by the obedience of one shall many be made righteous. Romans 5:13-19

The message from the preceding passage points to that all of mankind was cursed because of Adam’s sin…thus scripture said God cursed him because he had allowed sin in his life. :

“In the sweat of thy face shalt thou eat bread, till thou return unto the ground; for out of it wast thou taken: for dust thou art, and unto dust shalt thou return.” Genesis 3:19

As a symbol of the coming One who would cover his sin, God made a covering for Adam and Eve out of the skins of an animal…..

22 And almost all things are by the law purged with blood; and without shedding of blood is no remission.
23 It was therefore necessary that the patterns of things in the heavens should be purified with these; but the heavenly things themselves with better sacrifices than these.
24 For Christ is not entered into the holy places made with hands, which are the figures of the true; but into heaven itself, now to appear in the presence of God for us:
25 Nor yet that he should offer himself often, as the high priest entereth into the holy place every year with blood of others;
26 For then must he often have suffered since the foundation of the world: but now once in the end of the world hath he appeared to put away sin by the sacrifice of himself. Hebrews 9:22-26

Jesus paid the penalty for the sin that Adam allowed to enter into the world, and to every man since Adam, but Jesus was WITHOUT sin. Having been born of the Father in this sin sick world, Jesus lived the life that God expects from each of us, but was unable to do what He demanded, that in Jesus He defeated the penalty of sin that we deserve. This was mercy and grace. Mercy is defined of being forgiven of something we earned, which was death, and grace receiving what we could not earn, but given as a gift. He defeated sin by His death, but because of His resurrection He justified all who believe in Him and what He accomplished.

8 For by grace are ye saved, not of works. It is a gift of God, lest any man should boast……………

12 That at that time ye were without Christ, being aliens from the commonwealth of Israel, and strangers from the covenants of promise, having no hope, and without God in the world:
13 But now in Christ Jesus ye who sometimes were far off are made nigh by the blood of Christ.
14 For he is our peace, who hath made both one, and hath broken down the middle wall of partition between us;
15 Having abolished in his flesh the enmity, even the law of commandments contained in ordinances; for to make in himself of twain one new man, so making peace;
16 And that he might reconcile both unto God in one body by the cross, having slain the enmity thereby:
17 And came and preached peace to you which were afar off, and to them that were nigh.
18 For through him we both have access by one Spirit unto the Father. Ephesians 2:8,12-18

All of mankind has sinned. It is part of our spiritual DNA, from our original parents that no one can escape. Nobody who ever sinned, even once, has defeated sin personally, and all mankind remains under sin’s penalty of death.

All mankind is under a curse and without ridding ourselves of the sin we have committed will stand before a righteous judge and be condemned.

24 For Christ is not entered into the holy places made with hands, which are the figures of the true; but into heaven itself, now to appear in the presence of God for us:
25 Nor yet that he should offer himself often, as the high priest entereth into the holy place every year with blood of others;
26 For then must he often have suffered since the foundation of the world: but now once in the end of the world hath he appeared to put away sin by the sacrifice of himself.
27 And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment:
28 So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto them that look for him shall he appear the second time without sin unto salvation. Hebrews 9:24-28

TWO PARTS TO THIS COMING DEATH

Death is in two parts. The physical death, and what the Bible calls the ‘second death’ eternal separation from God in the Lake of Fire. And so is the judgment of a person’s life. Those who have accepted Jesus Christ as a little child in that child-like faith have already been judged at the cross of Christ. Their penalty has already been paid.

14 Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances (penalty) that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross;
15 And having spoiled principalities and powers, he made a shew of them openly, triumphing over them in it. Colossians 2:14-15

But for those who trust in their own good works to save themselves, there will be a second death before the Great White Throne of God Almighty, where they will be judged for ALL their works, either good or bad.

Contrary to some who believe that if they live a good life, and their good works which outweigh their bad, will somehow earn them a ticket to heaven will be horrified to learn that they were wrong. But beware if you think such foolishness, as there is no balancing scale with good deeds on one side and bad deeds on the other. Even ONE sin of those standing before God at this judgment will earn them eternal separation from God.

All who have died in this physical life, will taste physical death, should the Lord tarry, but those who stand before God without some form of payment for their sinful nature, will taste spiritual death. This is the second death

20 For when ye were the servants of sin, ye were free from righteousness.
21 What fruit had ye then in those things whereof ye are now ashamed? for the end of those things is death.
22 But now being made free from sin, and become servants to God, ye have your fruit unto holiness, and the end everlasting life.
23 For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. Romans 6:20-23

THOSE THAT FOUND FAITH IN JESUS CHRIST.

When a sinner accepts Jesus Christ as personal Saviour, our sin is transferred to our Lord, as the propitiation (substitute) for what we deserve. Jesus blood sacrifice on a Roman cross paid our eternal debt from that moment forward on into eternity. There is NOTHING left to judge us on, except what rewards that we will receive at the Bema Judgment Seat of Christ. It is something that we could never earn no matter what we do, because it is a free gift, freely offered to all men.

By accepting Jesus’ sacrifice on our behalf and committing to follow Him we are declared righteous by God on the basis of our faith.

Therefore as new creatures, recreated by the Blood of Christ, wearing His righteousness instead of our own, we are able to come before the throne of God blameless and cleansed, re-establishing our relationship with God. When God the Father will look upon us standing before His throne, He will see nothing but the righteousness of His Son…we are clothed with that righteousness when we confessed our sins, and accepted Jesus Christ as our Saviour and the substitute payment for what we did deserve….death, eternal death.

14 For the love of Christ constraineth us; because we thus judge, that if one died for all, then were all dead:
15 And that he died for all, that they which live should not henceforth live unto themselves, but unto him which died for them, and rose again.
16 Wherefore henceforth know we no man after the flesh: yea, though we have known Christ after the flesh, yet now henceforth know we him no more.
17 Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.
18 And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation;. 2 Corinthians 5:14-18

No matter what men do, this has nothing to do with religion. Those who promote one religion supreme over another fool themselves that they can somehow do enough righteous acts through their church to qualify somehow to enter into God’s Kingdom. Men believe that they have to belong to a certain religion and call it “God’s Church” founded by the Lord Jesus Christ. Proper teaching of truth by one’s denomination can lead you into the truth found solely in Jesus Christ, but it can do nothing in of itself to justify you, just because you belong to its religion and follow their traditions, no matter how righteous they may seem, it will do nothing for your eternal salvation. But it CAN lead you astray from Jesus as the only payment for that sin.

The apostle Paul made that abundantly clear when he was preaching to the church in Galatia, where a false teaching had crept into their midst that said that Christians had to be circumcised like Jews, in order to prove they belonged to God. Paul corrected those in error that they were neither Jew or Gentile, but a new creature in Christ.

13 For neither they themselves who are circumcised keep the law; but desire to have you circumcised, that they may glory in your flesh.
14 But God forbid that I should glory, save in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom the world is crucified unto me, and I unto the world.
15 For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision availeth anything, nor uncircumcision, but a new creature.
16 And as many as walk according to this rule, peace be on them, and mercy, and upon the Israel of God. Galatians 6:13-16

A NEW CREATURE IN CHRIST

For a lot of people, this is a difficult concept to understand exactly what a “new ?creature” is according to scripture and what it is not. The Bible teaches there are four separate spiritual creations of God.

First God created the angels, which became ministering spirits and flames of fire:

7 ”And of the angels he saith, Who maketh his angels spirits, and his ministers a flame of fire.” ……
14 “Are they not all ministering spirits, sent forth to minister for them who shall be heirs of salvation? “ Hebrews 1:7, 14

Angels were created to serve Almighty God and humanity who would become heirs of salvation, even before man was even created. Some call them guardian angels, and they do watch out for us according to the will of God.

Then God created Adam in His image and His likeness. Adam was sinless and designed to live forever as long as he followed the commandments of God.. and there was only one… not to eat of one particular tree…sounds simple, doesn’t it? At Adams fall, his spiritual state changed as he became separated from God because of his sin and became the father of unregenerate Gentiles. Adam willfully rebelled against God’s command. Some say it was out of love for Eve, who was deceived, but Adam was not.

Then there is Abraham, through faith, fathered the first of another new spiritual creation. Isaac was the first spiritual Jew, the father of Jacob, whose name was changed to Israel.
Since then, every person is born either a Jew or a Gentile, from the perspective of their spiritual state of existence. For simplicity, we speak of them as Jews, but it is more correct that God separated out a member of the Hebrew race. The first three sentient, spiritual creations of God, then, are angels, Jews (Hebrews) and Gentiles, descended from Adam, but in God’s Image, with an eternal spirit. From that point, God dealt with Jew and Gentiles separately. A Jew would always be a Jew in God’s eyes, and a Gentile could be a practicing Jew. A Jew could never be a Gentile, but they both were estranged from God apart from Jesus Christ. They were both still in their sins that separated them from their Maker.

At the resurrection of Jesus Christ, God introduced a new Spiritual Creation. All through the Old Testament there are scriptures that prove that man was made in the image of God, but beginning with the New Testament, the image of God makes a very decided shift. Jesus the second Adam, the man from Heaven, (as the Bible calls Him) or as John said “the eternal Word, is in the image of God in the flesh. Not mankind in general.
Now get this, for lack of a better word, Jesus was a prototype. He was a full, functioning form of a NEW type. This is what I mean by a shift in emphasis of what man is to become (immortal and in the image of Christ). Jesus was the first, the example of becoming the image of God. Jesus was the prototype, the goal of our redemption, our salvation and our glorification. This is the final goal of born again man

“And have put on the new man, who is renewed in knowledge according to the image of Him who created him” (meaning us, man). Colossians 3:10
“Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is.” 1 John 3:2

Jesus introduced a new spiritual creation with His resurrection. Those who trust Jesus are transformed into a totally new spiritual creation, personally in-dwelt by the Holy Spirit of God, and restored to the fellowship lost by Adam.

“Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned” Romans 5:12
“For as by one man’s disobedience many were made sinners, so by the obedience of one shall many be made righteous.” Romans 5:19

Each of us, meaning forgiven sinners have received an earnest deposit of God’s Holy Spirit (earnest meaning deposit) guaranteeing our future glorification.
13 In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise,
14 Which is the earnest of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, unto the praise of his glory. Ephesians 1:13-14

Having been MADE righteous and restored to fellowship, Christians are neither Gentile nor Jew. Nor are they angels, either literally or figuratively. The Bible calls them ‘SAINTS’ — something entirely unique in the history of the universe.

Either Jew or Gentile, they remain who they are, but a Christian who accepts Jesus Christ is REBORN into a new birth, a new spiritual creation of God.
This points to that the NEW man in not just in the image of God, or just a general picture of God, as man was formed to look like, but specifically to be formed into the image of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. He, Jesus, becomes the goal of the redeemed man, unto salvation. Jesus proclaimed this truth to Nicodemus when he came to him by night, seeking truth from Jesus:
3 Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.
4 Nicodemus saith unto him, How can a man be born when he is old? can he enter the second time into his mother’s womb, and be born?
5 Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.
6 That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.
7 Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again.
8 The wind bloweth where it listeth, and thou hearest the sound thereof, but canst not tell whence it cometh, and whither it goeth: so is every one that is born of the Spirit. John 3:3-8

Salvation is a permanent transformation from one kind of spiritual creation to a different kind of spiritual creation. It is the misunderstanding of the new creature that is a stumbling-block to grasping the simple assurances of the Gospel.

The Bible says to repent (literally, change your mind), realising your sin will take you to hell, and that there is nothing you can do about it except to trust Jesus’ promise that by trusting Him for your salvation as the Lord of your life, you are now a new creation of God.

It’s so simple. So simple, but in fact, that there are millions upon millions who just can’t get it. Paul spoke of being “wise in your own conceits” Romans 12:16 not the least of which is the belief that our works contribute to our salvation.
“But God hath chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise; and God hath chosen the weak things of the world to confound the things which are mighty.” 1st Corinthians 1:27
If Jesus didn’t do it all, then He didn’t have to do it at all and He died in vain. God could have just thrown us away and send us into the penalty for sin in our lives, but God loved His creation so much, knowing that He created man to be His family, He chose a way to save His creation and have very large family. Hence, God the Father sent His Son to redeem lost mankind.

16 Knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law, but by the faith of Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Jesus Christ, that we might be justified by the faith of Christ, and not by the works of the law: for by the works of the law shall no flesh be justified.
17 But if, while we seek to be justified by Christ, we ourselves also are found sinners, is therefore Christ the minister of sin? God forbid.
18 For if I build again the things which I destroyed, I make myself a transgressor.
19 For I through the law am dead to the law, that I might live unto God.
20 I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.
21 I do not frustrate the grace of God: for if righteousness come by the law, then Christ is dead in vain. Galations 2: 16-21

THE SIMPLE ALTERNATIVE TO SALVATION THROUGH JESUS

That is the simplicity of the Gospel. Jesus is the gift, (God gave His only Begotten Son). It is free for the asking and accepting if by faith the free gift. But notice the verses after 16-17? That is a simple explanation of what will be the result if you choose in your own freewill choice to either accept or reject this free gift. It is a penalty imposed because of that freewill…..it is condemnation. It is a simple explanation of what man can expect if they reject God’s provision for their salvation from being separated from God for all eternity. No one can say that they rejected God’s free gift out of ignorance. The Salvation message has been preached to nearly the entire world. It would have to be a backward civilization so removed from modern life, that they never heard the name JESUS, YESHUA..THE SON OF GOD who came into the world to save sinners, like me, like you…

9 The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is long-suffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.
10 But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up. 2 Peter 3:9-10

There is coming a day when Jesus will come and those not found in Him will be thrown headlong into the coming Tribulation. But that is not what this message is about. Prophecy is usually my main focus, but without Jesus, prophecy means nothing. Prophecy covers what Jesus has done, what He will do, and that He calls each of us by His Holy Spirit. If you have heard that call, don’t put it off one day longer, as the window of your salvation could close abruptly, for we are not promised even tomorrow.

2 For he saith, I have heard thee in a time accepted, and in the day of salvation have I succoured thee: behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation. 2 Corinthians 6:2

I am reminded of a song I love that speaks of what Jesus did:
“Living He loved me,
Dying He saved me,
Buried He carried …..my sins far away,
Rising He justified, ….freely forever,
One day He’s coming, Oh, Glorious day. Oh, Glorious day.”

Embrace the simplicity of the Gospel and you could be singing that song the next few minutes…

KING OF KINGS, GOD ALMIGHTY, JESUS THE CHRIST. – Pastor Mike Taylor

“In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
2 The same was in the beginning with God.
3 All things were made by him; and without him was not anything made that was made.
4 In him was life; and the life was the light of men.
5 And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not.” John 1:1-5

Some ask the question. Who is this man Jesus Christ and what was He? Was He a mere man, a good teacher, a prophet, or something much more than all of that, or was He God in the flesh? Of all the names that you could mention, there is not one person on this earth that does not know the Name that is above every name. Many men and women have been introduced to the Son of God and many have believed on His Name, but on the flip side of the coin, there are many who are blinded by the adversary, Satan the devil which in the long run, they are not willing to give up their sinful lifestyle.

I was reading an article that spoke of Paul speaking to King Herod Agrippa, which proclaimed to the Apostle Paul as recorded in Acts 26:28: ”Almost thou persuades me to be a Christian.” If I were to have to choose the saddest statement in all the Scriptures, it would be this statement. Many men down through the ages have come to the same conclusion, because they didn’t want to give up power, worldly glory, fame, or the riches of this world. They refused the Holy Spirit drawing them, and in the final analysis, this is the one sin that will not be forgiven of mankind. They have blasphemed the calling of the Holy Spirit and rejected Jesus Christ as Saviour.

History records in several documents of the real life of the One, Jesus Christ. Josephus, the Roman historian told of the life and death by crucifixion of this man condemned by Pontius Pilate and believed by many to have been brought back to life. That is the secular versions that proclaim the humanity of our Lord, and there are many besides the one mentioned, but the Holy Bible is what to many who believe in this Name and to me and others like me, is the final authority of who this God/son of man truly was. The whole of the Bible testifies of the coming Messiah and is God’s love letter to the world. When Jesus was on earth, He spoke of that very fact.

39 “Search the scriptures; for in them ye think ye have eternal life: and they are they which testify of me.
40 And ye will not come to me, that ye might have life.” John 5:39-40

If you search the scriptures you will find that Jesus fulfilled 353 different prophecies concerning His coming to the earth at this appointed time, that the Pharisees and Jewish authorities knew full well that it was the season of His appearing, but they didn’t recognize Him, as He stood right in front of them. What are some of the scriptures that told of His coming?

“Lo, I come: in the volume of the book it is written of me.” Psalm 40:7

“The testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy.” Revelation 19:10

“…all things must be fulfilled, which were written in the law of Moses, and in the prophets, and in the psalms, concerning me.” (Jesus Christ) Luke 24:44

“And beginning at Moses and all the prophets, he expounded unto them in all the scriptures the things concerning himself.” (Jesus Christ) Luke 24:27

“For had ye believed Moses, ye would have believed me: for he wrote of me.” (Jesus Christ) John 5:46

“To Him give all the prophets witness.” Acts 10:43

Scientifically speaking, what are the possibilities of one man completing all of the prophecies, let alone 8 of them? The mathematical computation is beyond the power of the mind to comprehend.

Professor of mathematics Peter Stoner gave 600 students a math probability problem that would determine the odds for one person fulfilling eight specific prophecies. (This is not the same as flipping a coin eight times in a row and getting heads each time.) First the students calculated the odds of one person fulfilling all the conditions of one specific prophecy, such as being betrayed by a friend for 30 pieces of silver. Then the students did their best to estimate the odds for all of the eight prophecies combined.

The students calculated that the odds against one person fulfilling all eight prophecies are astronomical-one in ten to the 21st power (1021). That’s 10 with 21 zeros after it…and that is for only 8, what do you think the amount of zeros of a number to fulfill all 353 of these prophecies? Are there that many zeros? Can the number even be understood?

JESUS REJECTED AS THEIR MESSIAH? WHY?

The Old Testament is full of the Words proclaiming the coming of the Messiah, so why did not the Jewish authorities believe in Him? Because He did not fit their image of what they were looking for. They were looking for a Warrior King, much like King David who would rid them of Roman oppression and free them to the glory days of King Solomon. They didn’t think they needed a Spiritual Saviour as they believed the Law and Moses was enough. They believed they needed a physical saviour, and Jesus didn’t fit their preconceived notions.
But Jesus had a mission that was ordained before the foundation of the world. This was God’s purpose all along. Jesus was to be the perfect sacrifice, as a Lamb of God, completely without blemish to cover the sins of the people with One death, and One resurrection to life. Jesus came to live among us for the sole purpose that His death would give those who believed on Him, life eternal.

16 “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.
18 He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.
19 And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil.
20 For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved.” John 3:16-20

The bible is full of references to the deity and the mission of our Lord to save this God forsaken world, that could not save themselves, no matter how good a man might be. Let us quote just a few of them that speak of what Jesus did for us.

“For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ, for it is the power of God to salvation for everyone who believes, for the Jew first and also for the Greek.” Romans 1:16
“For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast.” Ephesians 2:8-9

“That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.” Romans 10:9-10

“For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.” 2 Corinthians 5:21
30 And brought them out, and said, Sirs, what must I do to be saved?
31 And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house.” Acts 16:30-31

“Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.” Acts 4:12

That is but a few of the numerous scriptures that speak of Who this man was, and that He was God in the flesh, who came in the image of the Father in heaven, and died a most gruesome death to satisfy the justice of God that through Jesus being the substitute payment for the sins of the world, we might find reconciliation back to the Father God.

JESUS, THE SECOND ADAM FROM ABOVE

Jesus was unique, as Adam being the first man who failed, Jesus was the second Adam who would not fail. As Paul spoke of Him in his epistles.

20 “But now is Christ risen from the dead, and become the first fruits of them that slept.
21 For since by man came death, by man came also the resurrection of the dead.
22 For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive.
23 But every man in his own order: Christ the first fruits; afterward they that are Christ’s at his coming.” 1 Corinthians 15:20-23

Jesus died for the whole world, but if He had not risen, then we would still be in our sins. For the resurrection of our Lord was a promise of our future glorification that would be revealed at His coming for the Church of the Living God.
Upon the resurrection of our Lord to life, He became a new man, not like Adam in the flesh, but new in every way.
All through the Old Testament there are scriptures that prove that man was made in the image of God, but beginning with the New Testament, the image of God makes a very decided shift. Jesus the second Adam, the man from Heaven, (as the Bible calls Him) or as John said “the eternal Word, is in the image of God in the flesh. Not mankind in general.

Now get this, for lack of a better word, Jesus was a “prototype”. He was a full, functioning form of a NEW type. This is what I mean by a shift in emphasis of what man is to become. Jesus was the first, the example of becoming the image of God. Jesus was the prototype, the goal of our redemption, our salvation and our glorification. This is the final goal of born again man

“Behold, what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God: therefore the world knoweth us not, because it knew him not.
2 Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is.
3 And every man that hath this hope in him purifieth himself, even as he is pure.” 1 John 3:1-3

This points to that the NEW man in not just in the image of God, or just a general picture of God, as man was formed to look like, but specifically to be formed into the image of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. He, Jesus, becomes the goal of the redeemed man, unto salvation.

Now putting on the characteristics of this evil world requires no special skill. Just blend in, do what is popular, or go along with the crowd, and you’ll take on the characteristics of this lost and dying world. It is virtually effortless. But to put on Christ requires diligence, work, prayer, communion with God, and power from His Holy Spirit. We can’t do it alone. Satan would have us for lunch.

As we are being brought to the image of our Lord Jesus Christ, we are seen in the New Testament as the created work of God. It is stated in a number of different ways, as those in Christ are a new creation.

“Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away, behold, all things are become new.” 2 Corinthians 5:17

God has a desire for the work of His hands. Scripture says that we are His workmanship; He is the potter, we are the clay. We are being renewed in the spirit of our mind. We are being created through Christ Jesus unto righteousness and true holiness.

“Therefore leaving the discussion of the elementary principles of Christ, let us go onto perfection: not laying again the foundation of repentance from dead works, but of faith toward God.’ Hebrews 6:1

The implication is that sanctification after being justified by the shed blood of our Lord Jesus Christ is a creative process of character building. This is a process which begins with repentance and being baptized, and ends with our glorification at His return for His saints at His coming for His bride and beyond. It is a process of completion, a process of perfection. It is a process of being sanctified unto good works according to His commandments. That’s what I mean when I say it is a process of character building. Each of these is synonymous with each other.

“For it became him, for whom are all things, and by whom are all things, in bringing many sons unto glory, to make the author of their salvation perfect through sufferings. For both he that sanctifieth and they who are sanctified are all of one: for which cause he is not ashamed to call them brethren.” Hebrews 2:10-11

Moving down, “In as much then as the children have partaken of flesh and blood, He Himself likewise shared in the same: that through death He might destroy him who had the power of death, that is, the devil.” Hebrews 2:14

“Therefore in all things He had to be made like His brethren, that he might be a merciful and faithful high priest in things pertaining to God, to make propitiation (atonement) for the sins of the people. For in that He Himself hath suffered being tempted, He is able to aid those who are tempted.” Hebrews 2:17-18

Now the key for you and me in this passage is the word above “author” in verse 10. In the KJV, it is translated as “captain”. It’s the word “Achegos” from Greek. It is translated variously as captain, pioneer, trailblazer, or founder/author. The ultimate meaning of various translations of this one word is that something is begun by someone, so that others may enter into it. Christ is our “achegos”. He is the trailblazer, pioneer, founder, and captain of our ship.

Now let’s look at the exciting part. He was the trailblazer, the pioneer and the founder who began a work and blazed a trail that we might enter into His salvation. He set the pattern that we might enter in. He entered into a family once again that we might also enter that family by following Him, the Family of Almighty God. In this He was perfected. He was made complete by completing His work here on earth, that He could fulfill the role as our Saviour and our High Priest. He was fully able to pioneer the road that leads to our salvation. Now the whole reason for all of this, why He became a man, taking on human traits, and fully sharing in our humanity was for Him to able to bring many sons and daughters into glory by following His trail. Paul wrote of it in one of most favourite chapter. Romans 8

8:18  “For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us.
19 For the earnest expectation of the creature waiteth for the manifestation of the sons of God.
20  For the creature was made subject to vanity, not willingly, but by reason of him who hath subjected the same in hope,
21  Because the creature itself also shall be delivered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of God.

END OF THIS AGE IS NEAR

God has completed His work of salvation. Jesus has been the source of our salvation now nearly 2000 years, but God’s patience will not always allow man to rebel against Him. God is Love, yes that is true, but God is also a God of justice, judgment, and a consuming fire.

25 “See that ye refuse not him that speaketh. For if they escaped not who refused him that spake on earth, much more shall not we escape, if we turn away from him that speaketh from heaven:
26 Whose voice then shook the earth: but now he hath promised, saying, Yet once more I shake not the earth only, but also heaven.
27 And this word, Yet once more, signifieth the removing of those things that are shaken, as of things that are made, that those things which cannot be shaken may remain.
28 Wherefore we receiving a kingdom which cannot be moved, let us have grace, whereby we may serve God acceptably with reverence and godly fear:
29 For our God is a consuming fire.” Hebrews 12:25-29

If you are a follower of my sermons, then you have read where I just finished the book of Revelation, that shows that the coming of our Lord is very close, right at the door. When God releases His Divine, righteous wrath on this earth, then the suffering Messiah that Isaiah spoke of in chapter 53, will no longer be a meek, suffering Lamb of God, but will take vengeance on this earth as a roaring Lion of the tribe of Judah, who comes to devour the adversary.

SEEK THE TRUTH IN GOD’S WORD

Few people today desire the truth. I used to believe that people were just ignorant, and if they could only hear the truth of God’s Word they’d repent and get saved. Not always true, as men have their own freewill. The truth is that most people are willingly ignorant of the truth, because of the wickedness of their heart. Jeremiah 17:9 Jesus stated in Mark 7:9…

“Full well ye reject the commandment of God, that ye may keep your own tradition.”

You see, most religious people have churchianity without Christianity. They deliberately reject the truth of God’s Word, following man’s religious traditions instead.

Romans 1:18 states,
“For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness.”

Lost sinners have the truth, but they refuse to obey God’s Word.
Romans 1:20 tells us,
“For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse.”

There are no excuses!!!

God our Lord Jesus Christ will come and take vengeance on the whole of mankind that are left on this earth, save those who finally believe from the preaching of the 144,000 Jewish Evangelist, and the two witnesses preaching at the Jewish Temple in Jerusalem, but their existence will be full of sorrow, pain and misery. Most likely those who accept Jesus will die a martyrs death, as the scripture speaks of being beheaded, but that is most likely the most quick form of death.

Evil men can dream up many different ways to torture a soul to conform to their wishes, and all who do and accept this coming Mark of the Beast will be doomed for all eternity. Read my messages on Revelation on my blog and you will get a taste of the untold horror that is just around the bend, just out of site but closer than anyone believes or thinks is true. Jesus comes back in Revelation 19 and slays the bulk of what is left of humanity with just the Word of His mouth. This same mouth who created the worlds, will make short order of the destruction of His enemies.

11 “And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he doth judge and make war.
12 His eyes were as a flame of fire, and on his head were many crowns; and he had a name written, that no man knew, but he himself.
13 And he was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and his name is called The Word of God.
14 And the armies which were in heaven followed him upon white horses, clothed in fine linen, white and clean.
15 And out of his mouth goeth a sharp sword, that with it he should smite the nations: and he shall rule them with a rod of iron: and he treadeth the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God.” Revelation 19:11-15

Jesus is coming my friend, to remove those who belong to Him, His bride who has made herself ready for His return. Those who are in darkness, will most likely stay in darkness. Only a remnant of the billions left on earth will find Jesus in this horrific time, known as Jacob’s trouble, or most popularly called the “Tribulation and the Great Tribulation” of a coming 7 years of literal hell on earth.
My Lord is gentle, loving and kind, but His patience is about to come to a screeching halt and those who hear of millions of people suddenly vanishing off this planet will have no explanation, save the one they have been told all their lives, and they just would not believe it.

If you are reading this now, and that event has happened, do you believe it now? Sorry to say, this God/man, Jesus Christ is as close as you believing in your heart and in your mind that Jesus is the Son of God who took away the sins of the world, to all who come to Him in faith through grace. We don’t deserve it, I don’t deserve it, and you don’t deserve it, but Jesus did what no other man in the history of this world ever did.

6” For when we were yet without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly.
7 For scarcely for a righteous man will one die: yet peradventure for a good man some would even dare to die.
8 But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.
9 Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him.
10 For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life.
11 And not only so, but we also joy in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom we have now received the atonement.” Romans 5:6-11

Jesus died for all mankind, for those who hear the call of His Holy Spirit, but someday soon, and I pray you are not reading this and that day has come, our Lord Jesus will come and take those who belong to Him, as the Bible calls the “Harpazo”, or the removal of objects from one place to another, by force…Paul spoke of this most dramatically.
51 “Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed,
52 In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.
53 For this corruptible must put on in-corruption, and this mortal must put on immortality.
54 So when this corruptible shall have put on in-corruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory.
55 O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory?” 1 Corinthians 15:51-55

Jesus calls all who will embrace His plea, as God doesn’t want anyone to perish.

“The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance. “ 2 Peter 3:9

But on the flip side of this same Jesus, this same God who is not willing to have anyone perish, is a God of vengeance and a God of judgment. He will come to take fiery retribution against His adversaries…You have to decide which Jesus you want to come face to face with. Your choice, Jesus the Saviour of your soul, or Jesus your Supreme Judge to exile you to outer darkness, where there is torment, the worm dieth not, and where there is grinding and gnashing of teeth. I know that is a graphic picture, but that is the eternal fate of those who do not take this God/man Jesus Christ as their personal Saviour. I have given you multiple scriptures that point to how to come to Jesus in humility and repentance of your sins. I implore by the Name of the Everlasting God, Jesus Christ, make that decision for the only Way to heaven, the only Door to eternal life, is my Jesus…and I pray will be your Jesus as well..
